One week STTP on Processing and Characterization of Materials ( PCM-2019 )

IIM Baroda Chapter & Metallurgy Department, Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar had jointly organized one week STTP on "Processing and Characterisation of Materials", PCM-2019 during November 4th -8th , 2019 with focus on casting, welding, characterisation, demonstration, hands on practice, and research lab visit. 30 teachers from various engineering colleges and polytechnics of Gujarat stated had participated in the training.

In the inaugural session Shri. G. T. Dr. Pandya, Director, Department of Technical Education Sweta. P. Dave, Principal, Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, Dr. I. B. Dave, Head of the Department of Metallurgy, Dr. Sunil . D.Kahar, Chairman, Indian Institute of Metals, Baroda Chapter and were remain presence and adfess the gathering on November 4, 2019.

In the valedictory function Dr Sunil Kahar , chairman IIM Baroda Chapter Addressed the gathering about Role of Institute Industry Partnership in development of higher education pedagogy in presence of Prof K G Maradiya I/c Principal,GEC, Prof.G H Upadhyay principal DA Degree Engg & Tech. , & Mr D G Sharma & Mr Devang Mahant , Coordinators of STTP.
