Basic Amenities
IIM Baroda Chapter has its own Chapter office at Kapil tower first fool with all basic amenities such as Chairman office, Conference room with a capacity of 18 persons , Secretary office, Lecture Hall with capacity of 50 to 60 persons, materials library, kitchen & refreshing facilitates .
We are offering services to various industries to utilize Lecture Hall and basic amenities for their product display/demonstration on the chargeable basis along with reasonable catering services.
Our Association
IIM Baroda Chapter has strong association with Dept. of Metallurgical & Materials Engg. , Faculty of Tech. & Engg. , The M S University of Baroda. In the past IIM Baroda Chapter had organized various training workshops, seminars, conferences national and international level jointly with Dept. of Metallurgical & Materials Engg.
Recently IIM Baroda Chapter has reached out to various cities of Gujarat to organize a workshop, short term Training Programme(STTP) & expert Talk jointly with Metallurgy Dept. Government Engineering College (GEC) Gandhinagar, GTU as well as with Mechatronics Department, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), A Charutar Vidya Mandal Institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar.
Technical Workshop & Training
We are offering customized Technical Workshop & Training related metallurgy & Material engineering such Corrosion & its control , Protective Coatings , Corrosion Monitoring & Management, Metallurgy for Non Metallurgist, 'Corrosion Managers' course, Advances in Welding Technology, Basis & advance in NDT, Heat treatment practice, remaining life assessments (RLA), Material Characterization, Material Testing etc as e per industries requirements.
IIM K K Memorial Lecture & Awardees
IIM Baroda Chapter has instituted Kishore Kumar Memorial Lecture and Award” to express our gratitude toward Late Shri Kishore Kumar former chairman of IIM Baroda Chapter.
Kishore Kumar Memorial Lecture delivered by eminent speaker in the Field of Metallurgy at National Level.
IIM- KK Award will be given to the eminent personalities in the Field of Metallurgy at Chapter / Gujarat level, in following three categories:
(i) Professional Field (ii) Academic and R & D Field (iii) Industrial Field
